Our Vision

At L3C we believe, legacy but still critical, AIX, Unix and IBM i workloads should become integral parts of cloud transformation. Their datasets should be enhanced by analytics, AI/ML and additional services building on their historical strengths. 

We migrate legacy AIX, Unix and IBM i workloads to cloud, working with our partners and clients by performing a niche but critical element in your cloud transformation initiative. We build and migrate environments to Skytap on Azure (AIX and IBM i on Azure), private, dedicated infrastructure within L3C Cloud and also to  IBM Cloud  / IBM PowerVS. Our SPARC cloud infrastructure also allows legacy SPARC/Solaris environments to be brought into digital transformation initiatives. We solve skills issues with our remote System and Oracle Database Administration services ensuring you remain cost effectively supported. 

We are independent of any vendor, enabling us to be a partner to you and recommend the optimal approach rather than be influenced by any vendor or cloud provider.

Lubo Cheytanov
Chairman of the Board

Lubo established L3C to fill a gap in the UK market by providing private cloud environments for critical Unix applications. As L3C migrated more and more complex environments, L3C developed an expert capability in migrating Unix workloads to the major public cloud platforms. Prior to setting up L3C, Lubo held executive roles in IBM Europe and IBM UK, including rebuilding IBM’s mid-market business and is a dual British and Bulgarian citizen.

Jerry Crossfield
CEO

Jerry engages directly with our clients to ensure L3C is a client focused organisation anticipating needs and understanding your challenges first hand. After many years in IBM Global Services, growing Cloud and setting up IBM’s MSP/CSP business he joined L3C to be at the heart of a new vision and approach. Prior to lockdown Jerry was a regular speaker at industry events.

Ivaylo Nikolov
CTO

Ivo runs our operations team and leads our more complex implementations for our clients. He has experience across multiple technologies and has successfully led many cloud migrations and deployments across multiple industries.

Simon Briskman

Simon is Partner Technology, Outsourcing and Privacy at Fieldfisher. He supports global organisations on projects from initial strategy through to negotiations and advises on new technologies such as AI and automation.

Shalini Khemka CBE

Shalini is CEO of E2Exchange, member of the main Board and Audit Committee UK Export Finance, Mayor of London Business Advisory Board member and formerly Investment Director at Lloyds. She set up E2Exchange in 2010 to link entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders and professional service providers.

Stephen O’Donnell

Stephen is a highly experienced CIO with experience across multiple industries globally and nationally. He is also a non-executive director for a number of organisations

Konstantin Stoyanov

Konstantin is Partner at Crown Ocean Capital. He co-founded Crown Ocean Capital in 2007 and has many years experience investing in private and listed companies and looks to provide entrepreneurial support through a company’s lifecycle.

Stanimira Koleva

Stanimira is SVP and GM Asia Pacific and Japan at Here Technologies. She has extensive experience in AP and European markets including SVP & MD for Citrix AP and Japan and General Manager Midmarket Solutions and Partners at Microsoft.

Ivo Gueorguiev

Ivo is entrepreneur, investor and a banker. He is a business builder rooted in financial services. Currently on a mission to redefine payments across EU. Previously a senior banker at the EBRD. Has built and exited more than 20 businesses.

Our Story

Formed in 2013 with 1 employee and no client base we have grown to a cloud service provider at the forefront of:

  • Building and Migrating AIX, IBM i and Linux/Windows workloads to Skytap on Azure and providing managed services for the cloud environment
  • Providing unique tooling to integrate AIX and IBM i system monitoring into Azure Monitor as well as older versions of Linux and Windows
  • Providing T3/T4 hosted infrastructure for legacy Solaris environments.

We support some of the world’s leading system integrators and outsourcing companies  complementing their clients’ digital transformation as well as supporting innovation in Universities and SMEs needing a more local and cost effective provider. Our cloud environments also support software vendors and providers giving them access to multiple OS versions enabling cost effective test and development platforms.
